A wonderful lunchtime treat. We opted for the 6.5 course tasting menu which showcased the skill of the kitchen with a wide range of flavours. Service was very professional and friendly and chefs came to the table to explain each course. We were there for 2.5 hours and never felt rushed. A very nice way to spend a Saturday and we would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special meal, one of the best we have had in Dorset.
We've eaten at Thirteen twice now, and it's such a wonderful gem of a find. We absolutely love it. From the first course to the last, everything is beautifully executed, and the wine pairing is superb. Thirteen is something truly special. Exceptional cooking, thoughtful service, and all delivered in a friendly, relaxed, and fun setting. We can't wait to return.
We have eaten in a number of Michelin starred and Michelin recommended restaurants and this is one of our favourites. Frances, her father and the team are great hosts and give excellent service. The food has really good flavours and very well presented and I would say good value given the quality and taste. If you are considering eating here, just do it, you won't be disappointed.
